Represented by our Trade Ambassador, Prince Collins Ezeiruaku Nwosu, the association visited the EXIM bank of Republic of China, Taiwan.
The visit was to discuss ways both institutions could promote trade. The ITFA team was received by the management team lead by Andy H.M. Chen, Senior Vice President.
The EXIM team introduced their refinancing business. Refinancing refers to the Bank providing loans to domestic and foreign financial institutions, and then its on-lending customers purchase products from Chinese manufacturers. This indirectly provides the buyer’s preferential instalment financing, which can be used by foreign importers and financial institutions. The meeting ended with commitments from both institutions to continue explore the opportunities for trade promotion.
